PortageForward AI LLC runs RetailTides. This page says what personal information we hold, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Your account details: your email address, your display name and your timezone, and how you want us to contact you.
If you leave your email address to be told when RetailTides opens, we keep that address for that purpose.
The product categories you choose to follow, and the notifications we have sent you.
Your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
Basic usage and error information that helps us fix problems. We do not put your email address or password in it.
Signing in
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google. We may add other sign-in options later. If you use Google, we receive only the name and email address Google shares with you after you agree, and nothing else from your Google account.
Why we use it
To run your account, follow the product categories you chose, send you the notifications you asked for, take payment for your plan and answer your questions. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use providers to host the service (Vercel), store data and sign you in (Supabase), send email (Resend), take payment (Stripe) and see how the site is used (PostHog). They may handle your information only to do that work for us. Your information is stored in the United States.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you logged in and the site working. Analytics cookies are optional: they stay off unless you say yes, and you can change your mind any time.
We send the emails you asked for and messages about your account. Every email has a clear unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list. If an email to you bounces, we try a few more times and then stop.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal information, except what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
Age
RetailTides is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can see and change your profile and communication preferences in your account. You can ask us for a copy of your information or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights over your information, and we will help. Write to support@portageforwardai.com. We reply to every message within two business days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email first.
